Welcome to Tarnished Lace. I hope you find this a pleasant journey of discovery. Take your time - each piece tells its own story.
My life-long love of antiques began during the hours I spent as a child playing in my grandparent's attic. My grandmother had inherited a large estate from her great aunt and the attic was filled with wonderful treasures. Today I love hunting for beautiful rosaries, Victorian crystal beads, bits of vintage ivory, antique mother of pearl, Venetian "wedding cake" beads and almost anything old or sparkly or tiny, whimsical or unusual to add to my pieces. My treasure hunt takes me around the U.S. and Europe. When I am not searching, I spend nearly everyday creating jewelry. It is my passion.
I hope my customers will feel the same sense of history and joy that I feel when I am working with these momentoes from the past.
If you have any questions or special wishes about a piece, please let me know. I am usually able to modify or customize pieces upon request. My goal is for each customer to be delighted with every item purchased from my shop. It is my hope that Tarnished Lace jewelry will become cherished family heirlooms of the future.
